Babestation Model Scores Big UK News Coverage
UK-based adult streaming platform Babestation has been getting ink from a variety of the biggest UK newspapers and news sites of late, flowing from a controversy surrounding Babestation model Alex Le Tissier.
Alex is married to Mitch Le Tissier, the son of English football legend Matt Le Tissier. Alex recently opened up about her family’s financial struggles, which she rectified by signing up as a Babestation model, which has helped turn her life around, with the money she makes from camming greatly bolstering the family’s income.
Alex’s story was picked up by British broadcaster ITV, which dedicated an episode of its series about the adult industry, Filthy Rich, to Alex.
Since then, the biggest tabloid newspapers in the UK, including The Sun, The Daily Star, and The Daily Mirror, have all featured Alex and her story, keeping the Babestation platform in the headlines as it hurtles towards its third decade in operation.
“I’ve gotten a couple more thousand and it’s been mad,” Alex told The Daily Star of her new income stream. “It’s not the end of the month yet so I don’t want to put a number on it and jink it but I will have earned nearly four times the amount I usually make.”
The media attention has its downside too, as fans of Southampton FC, the club where Mitch Le Tissier made his name, have mercilessly trolled Alex on social media. Alex she seems to take the abuse in stride, however.
“They are just so mean to me,” Alex said. “But every time I post a picture of me in a Saints kit I get more subscribers. When the documentary came out and I was in the press there were so many Saints fans slagging me off on my timeline. It’s fine because I don’t really know these people but it was a bit intense at times.”
Alex added that she feels like “a lot of Southampton fans hated me anyway.”
“I don’t know what it is about football Twitter, they are just so mean,” Alex added. “There are still a ton of them that love me, but 90% hate me.”
