B-I-N-G-O Spells Successful Fundraising for Free Speech Coalition
CANOGA PARK, CA – Punk rock sensibility porn sensation Joanna Angel helped make sure that the Free Speech Coalition Rock N Roll Bingo fundraiser was a swinging success when she hosted the February 16th evening of meaningful fun.Held in Hollywood, California, the evening’s events were hosted by LA Weekly, VCA Pictures, Playboy.com, Erotica LA, Wanted List, EonMcKay.com, Amoeba Music, A&K Labels, and Shocking Moon Designs.
According to LA Weekly, the event raised more money for the Free Speech Coalition than any single fundraiser prior it had held – which is quite an achievement for a night of fun dedicated to buying $5 bingo cards. Although a final card count has not been tallied, several hundred were unquestionably sold during the games.
So successful was the evening that LA Weekly plans on hosting another Free Speech Coalition bingo night benefit in June, again in cooperation with Erotica LA.
“These are the best types of fundraisers,” Michelle Freridge, executive director of the Free Speech Coalition observed. “They combine a great party with a great cause, and everybody wants to do it again because they had such a great time.”
