YNOT – AVN Media Network has issued an open casting call for models interested in filling two spots as “trophy girls” during the 2012 AVN Awards ceremony. In order to solicit fan input, the casting call will be conducted via Twitter instead of face-to-face.

Female talent who wish to apply should tweet a sexy photo to the official AVN Awards Twitter account, @AVNAwards, with the hashtag phrase “#AVNTrophyGirls” included. Submissions will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. PT Nov. 2.

Only performers who entered the adult industry during 2011 are eligible.

Trophy girls traditionally have been chosen from among the top new talent each year. The duo is on stage for the duration of the awards show and featured prominently on the show’s cable broadcast. Past AVN Awards trophy girls include Alexis Ford, Chanel Preston, Madelyn Marie, Monique Alexander, Courtney Cummz and Midori.

The 29th annual AVN Awards will take place Jan. 21 in the upscale, 4,000-seat The Joint showroom inside Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. More information about the 2012 event, to be co-hosted by Bree Olson and Sunny Leone, is available at AVNAwards.com.
