MONTREAL – Australian dollars have joined the list of currency options at alternative payment network Paxum. The e-wallet platform also enables peer-to-peer, wire and check money transfers in U.S. and Canadian dollars, euros and British pounds.

“We are pleased to strengthen our service offerings and provide even more options for our valued customers,” an announcement of the addition noted. “AUD [Australian dollars] currency has been implemented to benefit our Australian clients, and an AUD currency checking account can be easily added to any verified Paxum account holders’ profile.”

Verified Paxum clients may add any available currencies to their accounts regardless their physical location. The company assesses no fees or extra charges to set up additional currency accounts or to transfer funds between Paxum currency accounts. The user interface on the company’s website displays current exchange rates prior to any transfer.

Paxum clients who wish to enable the AUD option may do so by logging into their control panel and updating their account through the “Add New Currency” link located on the main account overview page.
