‘Aussie Lust’: Real Lesbian Erotica from Down Under
YNOT – A new video series from two formidable talents in the lesbian erotica arena aspires to deliver real women having real sex without the intrusion of a director’s notions about what “real sex” looks like.
Australian videographer Michelle Lust and American producer-director Jincey Lumpkin have partnered to create Aussie Lust, which features all-Australian talent. Though the storylines are scripted, the female performers take the reins when the action gets hot and heavy.
Multimedia adult company Pink Visual played matchmaker: Both Lust and Lumpkin partner separately with the company on other projects. PV will distribute the fruits of the collaboration.
“Jincey’s aesthetic sense, Michelle’s shooting skill and Pink Visual’s distribution channels make a formidable team,” said Pink Visual President Allison Vivas. “Each of our companies gets to do what it does best, in a way that is complementary and mutually supportive of each others’ efforts.”
Lust, a former producer for Abby Winters, has created content for Pink Visual since late 2011, shooting primarily solo scenes featuring amateur performers. Lumpkin, a New Yorker who is married to her lesbian soulmate and practiced law before founding the award-winning adult studio Juicy Pink Box, said what caught her eye in Lust’s work was “the authenticity and honesty of it all.” Lesbian porn produced by and for lesbians significantly differs from the so-called “lesbian porn” produced by men primarily for men, she indicated.
“Michelle is one of those producers who really lets the talent call the shots and do what comes naturally to them,” Lumpkin said. “Instead of working from a standard list of sex acts and positions and doing things by the numbers, Michelle encourages performers to do what feels good and feels right to them, and that’s what the Juicy Pink Box brand is all about: real women exploring their sexuality in an honest way.”
Lust said she relishes the opportunity to work with Lumpkin and to grow her relationship with Pink Visual, as well.
“It’s great to work with people who understand and share your vision,” she said. “While our work is very different visually, Jincey and I take a very similar approach to production — one that puts a very high premium on the performers really enjoying the experience and on delivering a product we can be proud of.”
The first four episodes of Aussie Lust are available on Lumpkin’s flagship site, JuicyPinkBox.com. The site is promotable through Pink Visual’s TopBucks affiliate program, which pays a 60-percent recurring revenue share or up to $37 per sale.
