LOS ANGELES – T-girl model Aubrey Kate may be new to the adult industry, but the hard-working starlet is taking porn by storm. Kate already has worked for popular studios including Shemale-Club.com, TSSeduction.com. ShemaleXXX.com, Evil Angel, Devil’s Film and Trans500 Studios, despite her tenure of only a few months as a performer.

YNOT.com caught up with Kate and asked about her and her transition from closeted child to out-and-proud T-girl.

YNOT: You’re bubbly and outgoing these days, but that hasn’t always been the case, has it?

Aubrey Kate: I was a sheltered kid growing up. I started dressing up when I was 17, and then took it more seriously when I moved back to California when I was 18. My best friend and I would go shopping three times a week in [Los Angeles] and get matching outfits and then go out every night.

Then I moved to Las Vegas to attend college.

I got my breast augmentation May of 2012. After that, there was no turning back. I was never really on hormones. I started performing in September 2013.

How did you get into the adult industry?

I was on Eros Guide since the day I turned 18. Kink.com kept calling me and asking if I would film for them. They probably called three times before I said yes, but what really gave me the push was my really good friends Sheena Ryder and Charity Bangs. They told me a lot about [the adult industry] and helped me get a lot of work.

And what do you think of your career so far?

I couldn’t be any happier. I would never have expected to film as much as I already have.

I am so blessed and so excited. I have done so many things on sets that I would never have imagined doing in my personal life. Every experience has been amazing, and everyone is so nice.

Tell us about your first scene.

My first scene was a solo, which was a little scary. I drove from California to Vegas, got my makeup done at my friend’s workplace on the Strip and then drove to the shoot.

I was a little early so I had to wait in the heat. It was a very hot summer in Vegas.

When I got to the set, there was only one guy filming. It was pretty awkward at first, but then everything just happened naturally and everything was so professional.

What drives your performances?

I want everything to be real. I don’t try to be anything but me at all times. On- and off-camera, I am pretty much the same.

I want truth and honesty in my films. I want the audience to see me in real action.

What projects are you working on right now?

I just was in L.A. last week, where I shot for Devil’s Film’s Transsexual Prostitutes and then did my first genetic female scene with Joey Silvera. I then drove back to Vegas and did a solo for SheMale-Club.com.

What would be your dream scene or project, and with whom?

One day, I would love to do a gang bang or orgy. I would love to be the center of attention with a straight cast — and take all of their TS virginities.

What do few people know about you?

I have been an Irish dancer since I was four years old. I have been all over the U.S. and to Europe for competitions. And I am addicted to shopping. Shoes and bags are my favorite. Oh — and IKEA meatballs: I’m obsessed.
