Attack of the Fembots
YNOT – Female robots programmed to perform every kind of explicit service imaginable run wild on a new adult website that draws inspiration from classic science fiction.
SciFiDreamgirls.com, a collaboration between Ashley Fires’ Rebel Base Studios and BDSM studio Wasteland, offers episodic video adventures set in a futuristic world. The highly unusual, high-tech material will appeal not only to porn fans, but also to sci-fi and gaming devotees, Wasteland founder Colin Rowntree predicted.
“We are simply thrilled with this collaboration with Ashley, Jack [Kona] and their team of very talented film makers to bring this unique genre to the world,” he said.
The site’s concept is based on a theme that runs through literary works by authors like Jules Verne, Isaac Asimov, Robert A. Heinlein, Ray Bradbury, Arthur C. Clark and Harlan Ellison: Humans are extraordinarily fond of machines. As machine technology advances, at what point does the line between human and humanoid blur? Can a robot be a person? Can robots love? Are android sex slaves mere objectification, or could binary code create a higher form of sentience?
The mingling of skin and circuitry can be potently erotic. Androids can look like anyone the creator wishes, but theoretically they perform only the tasks they’ve been programmed to do. At SciFi Dreamgirls, co-creator Fires portrays a scientist intent on creating an army of fembots who exist to serve. Sometimes her scheme works, and sometimes it doesn’t.
“ScifiDreamgirls.com is the first of its kind,” said director and producer Kona, a man who seldom speaks in complete sentences. “It’s something we have wanted to do for a long time — an original, episodic website that follows specific plot lines. Recurring sexy characters that viewers get to know and love. High-end production values, cool special effects and, of course, hardcore sex. We wanted to create that ‘What happens next?’ anticipation with every episode. Viewers and talent alike are always very excited to see what the next video holds in store for them.
“I love the dynamics between the humans and the fembots,” he continued. “Being seemly in control over a female robot and then having her malfunction and go haywire — completely out of control. And you do everything in your power to try to fix her. Kind of like a human relationship.”
Fires revealed the series’ storylines begin in a robotics laboratory, but move into the larger human world after one of the fembots (also portrayed by Fires) escapes. Technosexual fetishists will enjoy both scenarios, she noted.
“I think the technosexual fetish and our site [represent] a beautiful expression of dominance and submission,” she said. “Developing SciFiDreamgirls.com has allowed us the opportunity to be creative, think feely and use our imagination. I am excited to embark on this great journey.”
Affiliates may promote the site through SpiceCash, which pays up to $35 per join or as much as 60-percent recurring revenue share.
