LOS ANGELES – For performer Sally D’Angelo, the so-called golden years may turn out to be exactly that. After a decades-long break from the adult entertainment industry, at age 59 D’Angelo decided to return and seize a piece of the growing “mature women” segment.
And why not? The Tennessee native oozes the sort of sensuous self-confidence only maturity can bring. Her brand-new official website, SallyDAngelo.com, makes that quite apparent.
“I started in porn in my 30s, for a brief few years, and that was in the day when the producer handed you a name and that was who you were,” said D’Angelo, whose 38FF bosom possesses its own star power. “A couple of years ago, I was approached by Score to do a shoot. I said, ‘Yeah, right. Who wants to see a 50-something get laid?’ So to boost my ego, I got the OK from my husband to jump back in.”
The jump turned into a plunge: The first Score shoot, which she expected to be a one-off, turned into two and then into jobs for several other producers.
“I’m still fresh at this, so I am picking and choosing the companies that are more A-rated,” D’Angelo said. “I’m having a blast. I go to events like eXXXotica and people actually recognize me now, even at the airport. It’s so much of a rush that I cannot explain it all, and I’m having so much fun. This is my dream job.”
The dream sneaked up on her, she noted wryly.
“The definition [of MILF] is me,” she said, “and I never even knew what a MILF was until just a short time ago.”
D’Angelo’s website, which provides still images, videos and access to her live webcam chats, offers an independent affiliate program paying a 50-percent recurring revenue share.
