ASACP Honors BongaCams, Gamma Entertainment, Cybersocket as December’s Featured Sponsors
ASACP, the Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection, is pleased to name BongaCams, Gamma Entertainment and Cybersocket as its Featured Sponsors for December 2020.
Among the industry’s most respected companies, ASACP’s Featured Sponsors promote the pinnacle of responsible business practices through ethical operation and proactive measures that help protect minors from accidental exposure to age-restricted materials while living their daily digital lives.
ASACP’s Executive Director Tim Henning said that the nonprofit association’s hard-earned success relies on these companies and organizations assuming a leadership role in the fight to keep children out of and away from adult-oriented materials.
“The support that ASACP receives from industry leaders enables it to provide the free educational resources and safety tools that have proven to deliver a positive boost to the online safety of today’s constantly-connected youth,” Henning said. “We are extremely grateful that our message and mission are being embraced by the stakeholders who help us to make a real difference in the digital world.”
The generous financial and material support that ASACP receives from its sponsors, such as BongaCams, Gamma Entertainment and Cybersocket power its 24 years of success; and enables its free child protection resources, including market-specific Best Practices and a Code of Ethics for online businesses, app publishers, and all operators of adult and age-restricted websites.
Among its most notable achievements, ASACP’s RTA (Restricted To Adults) meta labeling system helps parents prevent their children’s access to countless adult-oriented webpages and mobile apps and is offered to all site and app publishers free of charge, as are all ASACP services; including its CP Reporting Tipline, which has received and processed well over 1 million user reports to date, thanks to the generosity of the nonprofit association’s sponsors and members.
“While 2020 was a challenging year for the industry and its child protection efforts, ASACP persevered through the uncertainty and adapted to the year’s extraordinary events and evolving circumstances,” Henning explained. “With the continued faith, guidance and support we receive from our supporters, the association is poised to enter its 25th year of success with a clear vision for a brighter future and enhanced protection for today’s innocent youth.”
For December, ASACP honors BongaCams, Gamma Entertainment and Cybersocket as its Featured Sponsors, recognizing the commitment these companies make to keeping the internet safer for children and families.
