ASACP Announces New Corporate Sponsor: iBill
LOS ANGELES, CA – The Association of Sites Advocating Child Protection (ASACP) announced today that Internet Billing Company, LLC (iBill) has come aboard as a Corporate Sponsor of ASACP.“As a parent myself, it has always been of the utmost importance to me that we protect our children,” said iBill president, Gary Spaniak. “iBill’s support of organizations like ASACP is just one of the small ways that we are able to contribute to this increasingly difficult task.”
According to the ASACP press release, iBill also reports possible child pornography to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, a private, nonprofit organization that provides services nationwide to aid in the prevention of children being abducted, endangered, and sexually exploited.
“Gary Spaniak and IBill show that in addition to a personal commitment as a concerned person, social responsibility is an important aspect of a corporate culture,” said Joan Irvine, executive director of ASACP. “It’s not just about saying that one is protecting children, it’s about taking action. From a business perspective, it’s also about demonstrating and proving that action; one way is through supporting child protection organizations.”
“As an e-commerce solutions company, iBill has to comply with many government rules and regulations,” Irvine adds. “Therefore, they appreciate ASACP’s work. We appreciate their support as each new contribution allows us to develop additional technology to investigate CP reports or monitor members or educate the government about the industry’s efforts.”
