Arrow Taps Industry Vet Rabinowitz as Licensing VP
YNOT – Las Vegas-based Arrow Productions, home of the Deep Throat franchise and other classic adult content, has hired adult industry veteran Scott Rabinowitz as senior vice president for strategic partnerships and licensing.
According to an Arrow spokesperson, the move is part of a larger corporate development plan to reintroduce the quiet-but-stalwart company and its legendary vintage products to a new generation of consumers.
Rabinowitz, a business-development and management specialist, has worked with a variety of adult entertainment companies for 15 years. For the majority of that time, he served in front-line advertising, marketing, media-relations and intellectual property compliance positions on the digital side of the realm. In his new post, Rabinowitz will represent Arrow to vendors and the media, oversee content and brand licensing, and manage Arrow’s emerging business-to-consumer properties.

Arrow Productions owns and licenses a content library including Gerard Damiano’s Deep Throat, The Devil in Miss Jones, the Johnny Wadd series starring John Holmes and Alice in Wonderland. Deep Throat, which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2012, is among the highest-grossing films of all time and has earned the status of pop-culture icon.
“I have been working to fine-tune our organization for over a decade and felt strongly that we needed someone with extensive experience with multichannel digital and content licensing and publishing segments, in particular, to expand the tip of the Arrow,” said Pistol. “Scott is a savvy, experienced management and online-advertising professional. Self-directed, he looks under rocks in our own backyard to expand existing lines of business and uncover new revenue streams from assets we have, with a sensitive eye on bottom-line realities.
