APAC Announces Rooftop Pool Party to Benefit Performer Mental Health
Each year, APAC has a #SpreadtheLove Fundraiser and this year’s event is set to be even bigger and better than last year’s and will raise funds for APAC (Adult Performers Advocacy Committee) and Pineapple Support to benefit performer mental health.
APAC’s 2nd Annual #Spreadthelove event is taking place on Saturday, July 13th at The Rooftop located at 6250 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood. Doors open at 9:30pm. Your hosts for the night will be Ana Foxx, Lauren Phillips, and Natalie Mars.
The rooftop party is set to be the event of the season and well attended by the industry. It will feature nighttime swimming in heated pools, a star-studded bikini red carpet, drinks, dancing, and LA’s best DJs spinning all night long. There’s no dress code, but performers are encouraged to come in their coolest pineapple-inspired swimwear to shine on the bikini red carpet. Industry and fans are welcome, and industry tickets are half price. Promoter Jamie Barren will be offering an early bird discount—text him at 310.749.9029 or email jbpresents@yahoo.com for details.
“I’m so excited for this year’s #Spreadthelove. With the rooftop pool and bikini red carpet, it’s really going to be an epic party! Nobody, whether they’re a fan or an adult industry insider, should miss this event,” says APAC Vice President Riley Reyes. “Mental health is vital to our community, and APAC will use our portion of the proceeds to keep offering a free support group for adult performers. We know how hard it can be to find unstigmatized mental health care, so we offer a space where they can receive professional treatment that’s completely free, regardless of their insurance status. This party will help us keep that service going.”
“We are incredibly grateful for the support and friendship of APAC,” says Leya Tanit Founder and President of Pineapple Support. “Working together with other organizations that provide security and care for adult performers is the only way that together as a community, we can succeed. I’d like to give huge thanks to Riley and the team at APAC for organizing this fundraising party. Events like this help spread awareness not only to performers but on a broader scale, allowing us to provide much- needed resources to those who need them. The money raised will enable us to provide continued online therapy and educational programs for both therapists and performers.”
