Ann Houlihan Replaces Dave Levine at CNV’s Helm
LOS ANGELES – Adult toy distribution company CNV.com Inc. has named Ann Houlihan chief executive officer. Houlihan replaces founder and former CEO “Sex Toy Dave” Levine, who has occupied the position for 22 years.
The company also promoted Tom Mercer to chief technology officer.
“I am thrilled at the opportunity to carry on Dave’s legacy and look forward to adding my own brand of leadership at CNV,” Houlihan said.
Prior to joining CNV, Houlihan served as chief operating officer and chief compliance officer for Froley, Revy Investment Co., a large, registered investment adviser. She began working with CNV seven years ago as a contract bookkeeper. From there, she moved into the C-suite as full-time controller until she was named vice president of operations.
“Ann has built strong relationships with our partners based on integrity and performance,” Levine said. “Ann has increased margins not just by cutting costs, but also by improving the performance of teams and individuals.”
CNV owns SexToy.com, AdultShopping.com and several other adult product companies.
Levine is leaving CNV to focus on new ventures in the online education space. He plans to launch TakeOverMyBrain.com in 2017.
