ANME Show Postpones July Expo, Combines with January Show
LOS ANGELES – The ANME Founders announced a decision to postpone the July 2020 Show ANME Show, which was originally scheduled to take place July 13 -15 at the Los Angeles Marriott Burbank Airport in Burbank, effectively rolling the July event into the already-scheduled January ANME Show.
In their statement, the ANME Founders said they “had been holding out hope to produce another great show, however, after monitoring the information on Covid-19 in California and around the world, made the difficult decision.”
“While this news is incredibly disappointing for all of us, the health and safety of everyone involved is our top priority,” the statement continued.
“We are planning to combine both the July 2020 and the January 2021 shows into one spectacular event,” Val Jones, Show Coordinator for ANME said in the statement.
ANME added that the upcoming January show will also feature the annual Storerotica Awards produced by industry trade publication Storerotica (SE) magazine.
“Given what we’re all facing during this pandemic, it only feels appropriate to stand in solidarity with the Founders and plan on delivering a wonderful Storerotica Awards Show in January. We will continue to cover the best in adult retail inside SE Magazine and look forward to honoring our friends at the beginning of the new year,” added Kristofer Kay, Marketing and PR Director for Storerotica.
The Founders added that they “wish to extend their gratitude to all of the industry professionals who were planning on coming in July and look forward to seeing everyone soon.”
