Anime Expo to Introduce Amorous Professor Cherry Dating Sim
SAN DIEGO, CA — While the modern world of work and hurry makes it increasingly difficult to meet one’s romantic match, the virtual world is absolutely overwhelmed with love and sex. Thanks to JAST USA and ZyX, a little bit more of that virtual relationship reality will soon become available to not merely horny Japanese, but their lonely American counterparts, as well.Game lovers who enjoy a bit of mature role playing will have the opportunity to go back to school as Kouta, a college sophomore with a crush on his gorgeous professor, Chieri “Cherry” Hase. As is the case with many a smitten schoolboy, Kouta has problems paying attention in class. Fortunately for both him and his meat world controllers, Professor Cherry takes a keen interest in her students’ well-being, and is more than happy to help Kouta relieve some of his pent up sexual tension. Naturally, this leads the two on what a press release calls “the erotic adventure of a lifetime.”
This particular adventure is courtesy of a collaboration between JAST USA brand G-Collections, the leading publisher of Japanese PC dating sim games translated into English, and Japanese game maker ZyX.
Together, the companies not only created Amorous Professor Cherry, but have declared it “golden master status” while announcing that its virgin voyage within the continental United States will take place during the July 3rd – 6th Anime Expo 2008, to be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center. In addition to making the simulated dating game available for sale, JAST USA will host a panel on Saturday, July 5th, which will include discussion of the game, as well as prize give-aways and news about future game releases.
Attendees of this year’s Anime Expo will be the first in the U.S. to direct Kouta and his professorial sweetheart through a series of sometimes full frame animated sexual and emotional challenges including Kouta’s childhood pal Kiyoka, and other women, including Cherry’s advice-giving best friend and colleague, Mamiko. If gamers decide they don’t like how their adventure ends, they have the option to play through a series of alternatives, adding game time flexibility to the dating sim.
Those hoping to learn more about Japan’s latest entry in its rich “love simulation” computer game history should visit JastUSA.com/cherry/ for more details, as well as previews of other G-Collections uncensored English-language bishoujo games.
