Andrew Blake Website Moves Under New Umbrella
YNOT – Erotic photographer, cinematographer, director and producer Andrew Blake has signed a partnership agreement under which a growing art-porn network will manage the assets and marketing for Blake’s eponymous website. The deal also includes adding AndrewBlake.com to an existing affiliate program.
Blake rose to prominence in the adult industry in the late 1980s when his centerfolds for both Playboy and Penthouse received widespread acclaim. Now well-known for his abstract take on erotic filmmaking, Blake’s signature style clings more to vignettes than story-driven features. Incorporating contemporary fashion and architecture, his award-winning cinematic productions have been described as “a feast for the senses.”
“We are simply ecstatic to announce the addition of AndrewBlake.com to the MetArt family,” said Jill Taylor, vice president of marketing for MetArt, the network Blake selected for the partnership. “Andrew is an icon, and we are excited for all this partnership entails. Our network, affiliates and partners benefit greatly, and we are proud to be Andrew’s choice for management of his site.
“As the MetArt Network has grown during the past year, we have been extremely careful to stay true to our roots: Each and every new site is absolutely unique and a true representation of the product intended to be displayed by the talented visionaries behind the camera,” Taylor added. “Andrew Blake is undisputedly a master in his field.”
Blake will continue to produce new content for the website while MetArt manages other details. Andrew Blake/Studio A Entertainment’s existing relationships with DVD distributors and retailers will not change.
“Through this new relationship with MetArt, we look forward to introducing the Andrew Blake brand to a broader international audience,” Blake said. “We wish to thank MetArt for their support and confidence in this endeavor.”
Blake’s site also will be migrated from its own affiliate program to MetArt Money. The companies did not elaborate upon whether the change may affect existing affiliates of Andrew Blake Cash.
