SAN DIEGO – Helix Studios Inc., which markets itself as a producer of “all-American young male erotica,” has acquired the assets of PZP Productions and Puppy Productions. Details about the transaction were unavailable.

“I am pleased to welcome PZP Productions and Puppy Productions to Helix Studios,” said founder Keith Miller. “The catalogs of both studios fit perfectly with Helix, as many models used by both are already involved in Helix productions.

“I am truly honored that these studios have seen fit to entrust Helix with the results of their hard work,” he added.

The deal adds a total of 60 full-length gay adult movies and 300 scenes to Helix’s online streaming operation. According to Miller, members of HelixStudios.com will begin to see the new content on the site within the next 90 days, at no additional cost.

“I am delighted that the movies I made under PZP Productions are now in the capable hands of Helix Studios,” said PZP’s Peter Zaragoza. “Some of them have never been seen in [high definition], while others were crudely converted by the [video-on-demand provider] from DVDs.

“I have given Helix the digital masters, so my beautiful twinks will now look better than ever before,” Zaragoza continued. “I am proud to be associated with Helix Studios. Their innovative new streaming service is the future of adult entertainment — and it feels good to be part of the future, even if it’s a just in a small way.”

Terry Born of Puppy Productions said he, too, believes his content has found a good home.

“It is with great pride and gratitude that I have accepted this opportunity for my films to live on,” he said. “There are so many wonderful memories and good times attached to every one of my movies. I wish Keith great success in developing new audiences for my films so that they will continue to be appreciated and enjoyed for many years to come.”

Launched in 2003, HelixStudios.com offers more than 2,400 full-length videos featuring 18- to 25-year-old twinks.

The site’s affiliate program, HelixCash, pays a 50-percent recurring revenue share.
