Alex Coal to Hold Zoom Call Offering Sex Worker-Friendly Tax Advice
Adult performer Alex Coal has announced she is organizing a Zoom call with a “sex work friendly accountant” who will offer a 45-minute presentation, followed by a Q&A period to address specific questions from the call’s participants. The Zoom session is slated for this Thursday, August 18, at noon Pacific time.
Coal told YNOT she is going to “reach out to all of the performer participants individually so that only performers have access to the Zoom call.”
“A CPA is giving a free presentation to performers through Zoom, after which we will take questions from everyone about sex worker taxes,” Coal explained, adding that she will send the link to the session to each participant privately, because she doesn’t want the call to “get crashed by fans.”
In her tweets announcing the call, Coal noted that “changing the way I filed my taxes has saved me a ton of money, time, and stress.”
“The goal here is to help XXX performers get their taxes in order so that they can begin preparing for their futures,” Coal added.
For further information on the call and to let Coal you’re interested in participating, go to her Twitter thread and like the announcement tweet. Coal will then follow up with more information and the link to the Zoom call.
