AlertPay Adds Debit Card to Withdrawal Methods
YNOT – Montreal-based AlertPay, an online payment platform that allows consumers and business owners to engage in secure transactions globally, has launched its own debit card.
With the AlertPay Debit Card, users can:
• Fund purchases: The card is issued in U.S. dollars (other currencies will be available in the future, a spokesman said) and can be used online, in brick-and-mortar stores or at any bank or ATM to withdraw cash from an AlertPay account.
• Fund other cards: Users may use their AlertPay accounts to load any Visa or MasterCard credit or debit card from issued by any institution or payment processor. The feature is available in nine currencies: U.S., Canadian and Hong Kong dollars; euros; British pounds, Swedish krona, Danish and Norwegian krone, and Swiss francs.
• Move funds via bank transfer: Withdraw directly to a bank account in 23 currencies.
• Move funds via bank wire: Bank wires are quick, easy and secure and are available in USD, euros and GBP.
