After Phoenix, the YNOT Grand Prix is Anybody’s Race Again
YNOT – About 100 people turned out for the YNOT Grand Prix’s Phoenix event. Presented by JuicyAds, the race attracted 50 drivers and as many spectators, making it the largest leg of the annual series to date.
By the end of the evening, the leader board had shuffled yet again.
“This YNOT Grand Prix was without a doubt the best we have organized to date,” said Connor Young, president of parent company YNOT Group LLC. “Everything went well and smooth, thanks to the help of the great staff at the Octane Raceway, our guests and the event’s sponsors.”
Racers and spectators — a truly international crowd hailing from the U.S., Europe and Canada — were welcomed to the track’s VIP room about 8:30 p.m., where they were briefed. Between heats, drivers and fans lounged and talked business while enjoying a complimentary Southwestern-style buffet and drinks.
After practice laps and a series of six qualifying heats, the 10 fastest drivers advanced to the championship race on a quarter-mile-long track that, according to at least one driver, was “very fast.”
“The Phoenix race was one of the most competitive yet,” said Moreno “Mo” Aguiari, head of Dating Factory’s new U.S. division. “It definitely attracted the most competitive roster of drivers. Lots of people got bumped, spun out or sent to kiss the wall many times—including me.
“I was involved in two big accidents that left a few bruises on my body, but the same was true for the other drivers,” he added. “It was an intense race, without a doubt.”
The Top 10 drivers in Phoenix were:
- Chris Alex from Way3 Hosting with an average time of 22.624.
- Raphel Berkien of 2000Charge; average time 22.645.

Launched in 2010, the YNOT Grand Prix is the adult industry’s championship kart-racing series, awarding both team and individual titles. Component events in the U.S. and Europe provide participants with an opportunity to network amidst cutthroat competition. Cunning and good-natured trash talk play as big a role as skill, but the camaraderie is priceless.
The final race of the 2012 season will take place in September during the European Summit in Prague. For more information or to secure a seat among the drivers, visit YNOTgp.com, email LAJ or ping ICQ 92418228.
