Affiliate Expo in Rome Postponed Until July Over Coronavirus Concerns
ROME – In response to recommendations from the World Health Organization and the Italian Ministry of Health, the Affiliate Expo originally planned for March 27-29 in Rome has been postponed until July 17-19, the event’s organizers announced Monday.
“Following the World Health Organisation’s and the Italian Ministry of Health’s latest recommendations regarding the Covid-19 and maintaining our commitment in adopting every precautionary measure needed, Affiliate Expo 2020 is postponed to the 17th-18th-19th of July 2020,” the Expo’s organizers said in their statement. “We want the Affiliate Expo 2020 to be a success, but most importantly, we want the serenity and well-being of each and every one of our participants, speakers, partners and sponsors.”
The show’s organizers added that they are “not sure the current situation is suitable” for the event, and they “believe it would be irresponsible to act differently.”
“The well-being and the safety of each of our guests are and must remain our maximum priorities,” they added.
The location of the event remains unchanged and tickets that have already been sold are valid and will be honored for the event’s new dates, the show’s organizers said.
“Whoever has reserved a hotel room through our All Inclusive and VIP tickets or through our staff will have his/her reservation automatically postponed to the new dates of the event,” the Expo organizers added in their statement. “The people who, instead, reserved their room in a different way, will have to contact the hotel personally and ask for a modification of their booking for Affiliate Expo 2020 at the following number: 06 5083 4111.”
