AEBN Signs Gay Studio Adonis Pictures
CHARLOTTE, NC – Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network (AEBN) has announced an agreement with Adonis Pictures, a new but fast-rising production house in the realm of gay adult video.According to a statement issued by AEBN, Adonis is scheduled to release their 5th video on January 3rd, “a great accomplishment for the young Vas Nuys-based company that began production this past year.”
“I have worked with Richard in the past so when he called about AEBN partnering with Adonis knew it would be a great fit,” said Erin Burns, Senior Content Executive at AEBN. “The product is high quality and the guys, well, let’s just say too bad they are gay.”
“I’ve worked with AEBN for about 6 years now and always had a great relationship with them,” said Richard Naimy, Director of Marketing and Branding for Adonis. “It’s a great company with a long marketing reach. The ability to participate in the VoD market is very important; it is the way of the future.”
Jeremy Spencer, now a producer for Adonis, spent four years as the gay/bi managing editor for Adult Video News (AVN), which “allowed him to gain a real sense of what the consumer looks for in the adult entertainment market,” according to the company’s press release. Spencer launched the company in late 2004, along with business partner Billy Hudson.
“Utilizing award winning directors such as Michael Zen and Mike Donner, as well as up and coming director Ross Cannon, Adonis Pictures then strategically pairs their hottest men with the men their stars really want to work with, creating the hottest possible scenes,” AEBN said in their press release. “AEBN enters the partnership here to make Adonis films available to the widest possible market. The affiliation seeks to help Adonis Pictures grow, brand the name, and get the product out there.”
According to the release, Adonis plans to produce at least nine films each year, and also plans to employ AEBN’s mobile technology through Xobile, AEBN’s mobile division.
