AEBN Re-Launches Xobile
YNOT – Xobile, the mobile adult content platform owned by AEBN, has re-launched after a massive redesign. The product now features a new look, new technology and expanded content categories. AEBN plans to add an affiliate program and additional billing options this year. The new Xobile is based on a “tech neutral” approach developed to look good and function well across a wide variety of cellular handsets and other portable devices. The user interface automatically detects and adapts to the connecting device, offering consumers content and delivery options based on how they connect. For example, video may be presented as downloadable or streaming or both, depending upon the capabilities of the user’s device. Xobile adds compatibility options for new devices as soon as possible after the devices appear on the market.
Xobile also supports “dual delivery,” giving users a seamless experience when moving between the wired web and mobile spheres. Currently, the catalog offers sexy mobile games, mobiTV channels, mobile live cams, text chat, video, still images and more. In addition, because Xobile is integrated with AEBN’s online video-on-demand theaters, consumers may use AEBN minutes to pay for Xobile content.
At present purchases are billed on credit cards, but an AEBN spokesperson said integrated carrier-based billing will be available in selected markets this year, allowing users to add Xobile purchases to their phone bills.
Other changes planned for 2010 in-clude additional compatibility for the PlayStation Portable and Nintendo Wii gaming systems.
Details about Xobile’s webmaster (WAPmaster in Europe) affiliate program are expected soon.
