AdXpansion Introduces iFrame, Pop-under, In-Player Text Ads
YNOT – Montreal-based adult advertising network AdXpansion has added two dedicated ad units to the cost-per-thousand-impressions (CPM) model the company introduced in October: iFrame banners and site pop-unders.
iFrame banners offer advertisers greater control over which creatives they serve to surfers, while pop-unders offer the advantage of exposing surfers directly to the advertiser’s websites, a spokesperson said.
“With so many advertisers taking advantage of CPM billing, we are pleased to roll out two new ways to gain maximum exposure while controlling expense,” said AdXpansion Vice President Nigel Williams. “Just in time for the holidays, iFrames and pop-unders will be available on a select basis to qualified advertisers.”
AdXpansion also has launched in-player text ad units. Similar to the in-player banner ads introduced by AdXpansion in 2010, in-player text ads appear directly within a video while it plays on a user’s screen. Publishers have complete control over the duration, frequency and rotation of the ads.
In-player text ads already are in use on HardSexTube.com, 4Tube.com and PornerBros.com, Williams said.
