Adult Video Universe Makes Changes to Affiliate Program
YNOT – Changes in the way the Adult Video Universe affiliate program handles webmasters and consumers take effect Thursday. For starters, the company has eliminated the tiered commission structure it previously employed. From July 1 forward, all affiliates will be paid a flat 20 percent per sale. In addition, the functionality of the affiliate website has been updated to provide easier navigation and better reporting.
“We wanted to give our affiliates the best tools and incentives to make money,” spokesperson Amber Adams said. “With the new commission structure, we expect a lot of affiliates will move to Adult Video Universe to receive higher commissions than their current program provides.”
On the consumer side, all users will receive a 30-day tracking cookie during their first visit, whether or not they place an order. The cookie will allow the affiliate program to credit the original referrer if the consumer returns and makes a purchase within one month of his original visit.
