This Week on Adult Site Broker Talk, Part 2 of Chat with Nick Zargarpour
PATTAYA, Thailand – This week on the Adult Site Broker Talk podcast, it’s part two of show host Bruce the Adult Site Broker’s chat with attorney Nick Zargarpour, the Los Angeles-based head of the Zargarpour Law Firm.
Zargarpour has been handling clients in the adult industry for two decades and brings a wealth of knowledge to the table about both the operation of adult businesses and the legal and regulatory challenges facing the adult industry. In addition to his work as a trial lawyer, Nick also teaches business plan writing at UCLA Extension. Nick also has a 35-year history of starting and running successful small businesses of his own.
In the second part of a conversation that covers a lot of ground, Bruce and Nick address several of the major challenges facing adult businesses and content creators in the current adult market, including copyright infringement and other threats to adult businesses.
Asked what he tells his clients who are content creators about protecting against content theft and copyright infringement, Zargarpour laid out some simple steps creators can take to help protect themselves.
“We tell our creators to watermark their videos and there’s all these digital watermarks that can be put in there,” Zargarpour told Bruce. “There are very good companies out there like BranditScan that can help you mark your content, find your content online, and they tell you what to do.”
Zargarpour noted that services like BranditScan are “very reasonably priced” and that for an attorney like Nick to perform the same services “would cost you thousands more.”
“That being said, sometimes they can hit a wall and then that’s when we can get involved and we basically take some content down,” Zargarpour added.
You can listen to Part Two of Bruce’s conversation with Zargarpour starting today on AdultSiteBrokerTalk.com. Part One of the interview is available on the site, as well.
