This Week on Adult Site Broker Talk: Alan X of Alan X Films
PATTAYA, Thailand – This week on the Adult Site Broker Talk podcast, the guest is Alan X of Alan X Films, the show announced Tuesday morning.
A veteran, award-winning director who specializes in lesbian and girl-girl videos, Alan is the founder of Alan X Films. He started at Girlsway.com and GirlGirl.com before launching his own site in 2000, SheSeducedMe.com, which is “dedicated exclusively to the art of lesbian seduction.”
In the announcement, the podcast noted that the “pandemic taught the industry a lot about the value of owning your content,” adding that Alan has “tried a novel and progressive approach to building his site, partnering with models as co-owners of the content.”
“Over 300 scenes later, the idea is a hit, and models are thrilled to produce and own studio-quality lesbian content with high production value that they can sell directly to their fans,” the announcement said, noting that Alan is “proud that he is empowering models to be content owners.”
On the show, Alan explained that when he first began his career in the adult industry, filmmaking wasn’t even on the agenda. Having watched a bit of porn and being particularly taken with the ‘behind the scenes’ moments, and “it seemed doable and fun and like everybody there was really enjoying themselves.”
“At the time I was working as a graphic designer in Boston where I grew up and I said to myself ‘You know what? I’m going to go and try to do a graphic design for these people. I’m going to move to California where it’s sunny (it was like freezing in the winter at that point) and I’m going to go get involved.’ And I did.”
“Alan and I had a fascinating conversation,” said Bruce the adult site broker, host of the show and CEO of Adult Site Broker. “He is so well-spoken on content production that I learned a lot. You will, too.”
