Adult Marketplace Changes Owners, Continents
DELAWARE – An online adult products and services marketplace formerly based in Tunisia has changed owners and now is registered in the U.S.
7D LLC acquired Rent A Model Marketplace earlier this year and moved the office of record to Delaware. The new owners say the website is similar to “Fiverr or Freelancer.”
“Although people do sell content sets over the site, there are tons of categories that offer a lot more options,” spokesperson Andrew M. said. “There are sections for selling professional services, marketing services and other business-oriented jobs. This makes Rent A Model way different from any other site.
“If you offer services like graphic design, web design, marketing or other professional services, you can make money selling those services over Rent A Model,” he continued. “It was designed to cater to a much larger audience” than other adult marketplaces.
Buyers and sellers both must register before they can participate. Then, buyers simply search for the type of product or service they seek at a price they’re willing to pay. Some services cost as little as $1. Many sellers offer custom jobs by request.
Although buyers pay at the time a product or service is requested, the money is held in escrow until the seller completes his or her end of the deal. Purchases may be made using PayPal, Payza, Paxum, Payoneer and several cryptocurrencies.
Once a transaction has been completed, sellers receive 80 percent of the sales price through PayPal, Paxum or Payza.
The site was established to serve the adult industry but will handle non-adult deals, as well. Users on both sides of any transaction must be 18 or older.
