Adult Filmmaker Fred Salaff, Still Under House Arrest in Panama, to Appear Live on YNOT Radio on Wednesday
CYBERSPACE – Fred Salaff, the American photographer still under house arrest in Panama, will appear on YNOT Radio’s Hump Day Lunch Show on Wednesday at approximately 3:45 Eastern Time. The twisted saga of Salaff’s detainment in the Central American country of Panama began over a year ago, when Salaff and his company, Rio Bueno, LTD, SA, were charged with coercing prostitutes to perform in his adult productions, failing to obtain and file the proper paperwork to film adult movies in Panama, and not taking proper measures to prevent minors from being exposed to sexual activity.
Every charge but the one involving exposure of minors to sexual activity has been dropped. By most accounts, there is little to sustain the remaining charge, other than some rather questionable testimony of several children. Salaff contends that the children in question were instructed by adults to climb trees at the house next door, specifically so they could be “exposed” to the filming being done in Salaff’s backyard.
“The situation with Fred Salaff is a perfect example of a worst case scenario that people in our business can face,” said Hump Day Lunch Show host LAJ. “The injustice this man has faced over the last year is unfathomable. We are extremely fortunate that he will be able to share with us his horrible experience not only to raise awareness to the indignities he has suffered but also to hopefully prevent this from happening to someone else in the future.”
“This story is more than about a guy getting railroaded in a third world country,” added LAJ’s co-host, YNOT Bob. “It is about a fellow member of our adult community, beat down with broken teeth and a shattered spirit.”
Salaff has said that he has endured intense physical abuse during his lengthy detainment in Panama.
The Hump Day Lunch Show gets started tomorrow at 3pm Eastern/Noon Pacific on YNOTRadio.com, and listeners are invited to join other listeners in the YNOT Radio chat room during the broadcast.
