Adult CMS Adds New File Uploader
LOS ANGELES – The latest addition to a popular content-management platform designed for the adult entertainment industry eliminates the need for a separate FTP program by allowing site administrators to create new folders and upload files directly from their web browsers.
Elevated X’s new interface enables uploading of as many as 20 files of any type at once, including audio files, video and photographs.
In business since 2006, Elevated X’s pay site management software powers more than 2,000 adult sites. Users also can upload zipped archives containing content like sets of high-resolution photos, and the CMS will decompress the zip file automatically and copy the content into a chosen folder.
“We realize that as more people update their sites with content shot on mobile devices, there’s a greater need to be able to upload files from any computer, with no need to deal with FTP software or remember server login credentials,” he said Elevated X Chief Executive Officer AJ Hall. “Another added benefit is increased security, since companies employing content managers or site-update staff no longer need to provide them with access to their servers. With the browser-based uploading functionality, there’s zero concern of a questionable employee uploading a backdoor or other exploit or doing anything malicious due to having access to the server.”
The file upload feature is available to all Elevated X CMS users with servers running PHP 5.4. For more information, visit ElevatedX.com.
