Adams’ Conviction Nets Prison Time
MARTINSBURG, WV — The owner of three adult businesses based in Indianapolis, IN, on Friday was sentenced to 33 months in prison for violating federal obscenity statutes.On September 30th, Loren Jay Adams, 45, was convicted on six counts of distributing obscenity through the mails and engaging in interstate distribution of obscenity.
In addition to the prison sentence, Adams was ordered to surrender the website CreampieMILFSluts.com and all copies of the three fisting DVDs that formed the basis of the indictments handed down in May. He also was ordered to serve three years of unsupervised probation upon release.
Testimony presented at trial indicated Adams operated three adult businesses: Hard2Find Videos, which owned the forfeited website; L&J, and L and J. In addition, the jury heard testimony about Adams’ 2003 obscenity conviction in Marion County, IN. Although Adams challenged the conviction — for interstate distribution of obscene material — the state’s Supreme Court upheld the verdict.
