Adam & Eve Receives Two Mainstream TV Awards
YNOT – Hillsborough, NC-based adult products retailer Adam & Eve received two prestigious 2011 Telly Awards for its “40 Years of Adam & Eve” anniversary promotion. Since 1978, the Telly Awards have honored the best local, regional and cable television commercials and programs, as well as the finest video and film productions and work created for the web.
The 32nd Annual Telly Awards honored winners from more than 11,000 entries in 200 categories, representing all 50 U.S. states and five continents. Adam & Even received a Silver Award for TV documentary and a Bronze Award for TV information in the Film and Video categories, joining other winners including Sony Pictures, Walt Disney Studios, E! Entertainment Television and the Discovery Channel.
“We are very pleased, especially as an adult company, to be recognized by the Telly Awards,” said Adam & Eve Marketing Director Chad Davis. “We put a lot of effort into our 40th anniversary promotion and the telling of our story, and it is immensely gratifying for our hard work to be rewarded this way.”
The winning entry — a documentary-style, 15-minute DVD that includes a 16-page press kit — details the history of Adam & Eve as well as the legal battles the company has faced and the new business ventures it is pursuing. The promotion was created to gain mainstream media exposure.
