ABC Weather Twitter Link Leads to Soft Porn Fanny Pic
LOS ANGELES, CA — To overly simplify a complex concept, the chaos theory proposes that the universe is connected via a nearly infinite number of nexus points that can be highly responsive to changes within the chain of associations. Much to its likely embarrassment, the ABC weather affiliate in Los Angeles recently discovered how that applies to the world of electronic information. While the chaos theory can be observed in weather systems, whoever is behind the ABC7weather account on Twitter.com has learned that hitting “send” without double checking a Tiny URL string can introduce chaos into online communication, as well.
At issue is a classic example of “what a difference a keystroke makes,” with the ABC7weather poster’s Web 2.0 learning curve taking an acute change in direction this past Sunday when it posted a weather update. The “tweet” was supposed to include a link to the latest weather forecast, but ultimately lead to something far more cheeky.
Those who clicked on the Tiny URL link found themselves not so much exposed to information about the temperature and conditions of the world outside as they were exposed to information that likely raised their body temperature and possibly the condition of their pulse and genitals.
Resolving at the end of that hyper link was not ABC Weather news, but “c_blue_chair_ass_thong.jpg,” a softcore image apparently shot in 2005 and featuring a pair of pleasantly enough sculpted amateur model butt cheeks with the merest hint of dark blue fabric keeping them separate but equal. Cupped lovingly in the blue lace front panty panel is a fleshy mound that looks suspiciously like testicles.
Depending on how many Twitter.com users care about the weather in Los Angeles, the mistype might have gone without notice had a writer for AllYourTV.com not brought it to the affiliate’s attention and may have lead to its ultimate removal.
For those curious about the image, here’s the URL. Hopefully it doesn’t lead to ABC Weather. http://tinyurl.com/8jrgm
