‘A Life of Fantasies and Dreams’
By Peter Berton
VANCOUVER, Canada – Dominatrix, poet, web developer, graphic designer and T-girl are just a few of the job descriptions claimed by Alexis D. Vyne. What may seem an overly scheduled, fractured existence to others is par for the course in what she calls “a life of fantasies and dreams.”
“I live a unique lifestyle,” she said. “I spend the majority of my time making people’s dreams a reality and taking them into a place within themselves that they desperately crave.”
Vyne understands desperate cravings. She’s lived with her own since she was a young teenager, as YNOT discovered when we spoke.
YNOT.com: How did you become a shemale dominatrix?
Alexis D. Vyne: I’ve been in the BDSM scene since I was 14 years old. All my life, I’ve been active in the professional end of the scene and have enjoyed being the pet, partner and mentor of many of the hottest professional female dommes in Canada.
I’ve also been trans my entire life, but I didn’t really decide to go all the way until three years ago. Before that, I did professional domination as a male and worked closely with a couple of different pro dommes doing forced bi, cuckold scenes and a variety of other things including porn and webcasting.
Three years ago I decided I wanted to transition. It just felt like the right thing to do, and I haven’t had any regrets so far.
At that time I was working and living with Lalani Electrica, who is a pro domme, and it just seemed to work really well for our relationship, business and lifestyle in general. Instead of being a male dom, I became who I always wanted to be: Alexis D. Vyne.
On your website, you write about the “confusion” people experience about both BDSM and transsexuality. Why is that such an important issue for you?
Lots of people are newbies when it comes to getting dominated or being with a transsexual. The confusion often is related to their perception of what BDSM is.
Most are looking for someone who is sexually dominant who will take control of them and use them. To me that’s not BDSM in the conventional sense, as they don’t want to be beaten, bruised, tortured and humiliated. There’s such a vast array of fetishes, kinks, sexual desires and such that people get confused.
I take the time to determine exactly what people are looking for and deliver on those fantasies as best I can.
So…what are most people seeking when they come to you?
I see people from many walks of life, orientations, races, cultures and what have you. The vast majority are, of course, men who want to explore, be used, sexually dominated, etc. I also get a number of kinky and adventurous couples who want to spice things up a bit, as well as the occasional female client who just needs to know what [BDSM and TS are] like.
For the most part, people are looking for me to be in charge and take the control away from them. These people are often in leadership-type roles in their work or home life and are looking to escape reality during their time with me. Often the men I see are looking to experience and enjoy some of my more masculine attributes, but they don’t want to be with a guy — they want a girl with a dick.
What drives you to write poetry?
Hm. I write many things — mostly technical drivel, advertising and mundane things. My poetry is a direct link to my heart, because that’s where it’s born. Generally, I write in moments of extreme emotion: sadness, happiness, love and lust, as represented by the categories I [use on the site]. Only about a third of my work appears on my website, and I don’t really feel like publishing the rest because it’s very personal stuff.
In one poem, you write, “You gave me something I truly need, / I gave you your freedom, despite my need, / now I am left with only, a wanting need.” What’s the message there?
I wrote that in 2000 during a hard time in my life. At that time I had to let go of my relationship with the love of my life and mother of my youngest daughter. I had to back away, give her freedom and stay out of her life for all of us to prosper and heal. It’s not what I wanted; it’s what had to be done.
Now I have only a wanting need. I see her everywhere in women, every day, love her dearly and would die to protect her. I’ve thought about her every day for the past 13 years. Sometimes it makes me really sad.
Many T-girls seem frustrated when clients seek them out for their male characteristics rather than their female aspects. How do you feel about that?
I’m very happy with all 8.5 inches of me. I love who I am, and I plan on dying with my dick attached. I’m a bit different than other T-girls in that way: I have no plans to get rid of my little monster. I see myself as a twin spirit, both female and male, and I choose to live as a woman.
My personal preference is to fuck women and to be fucked by men. I don’t mind using [my penis] on a guy, though. It’s fun, and I do get off on it. I find other people’s pleasure brings me great pleasure, as well, and my little monster is part of that.
I get a lot of flak from some people who seem to think we must pick one or the other in life. Not me. I’m female and male, and in my life I am Alpha and Omega.
As a shemale dominatrix, what can you tell others about human sexuality and the human condition?
Humans are really strange creatures, diverse as life itself in their thoughts, desires and dreams. The human race has had its sexuality repressed by religion for a long time, and that has led to hate, discrimination, segregation and wars. We’ve been taught by the church of God that it’s wrong to be gay, wrong to have anal sex; it’s wrong to be trans, it’s wrong to embrace others’ beliefs.
To repair the current human condition, we need to get rid of the Holy Bible, the Koran, the Torah and any other stupid ancient books that promote hate and inequality. These books were created to control the masses and give power to the rich and greedy families who wrote them. Then this information was taught to us as the truth and what we should believe in.
Where do you hope to be in five to 10 years?
Over the next five years I’ll be continuing on the same path, possibly for as much as the next 10 years. After I do some additional feminizing procedures, I’ll be looking at starting another business or going back to school for a degree in psychology. I enjoy helping people, and I have always been good at listening to others, helping with their problems and being totally unbiased.
Regardless of what I do, it will be a continuation of my life as an entrepreneur.
