A Hot Time with TS Foxxy
By Peter Berton
YNOT – She calls herself “TS Foxxy,” and one look at the hot T-girl performer answers any question about why. Her website does land-office business, and YNOT.com caught up with her for a sneak peek at the woman behind the curtain.
YNOT.com: Please tell us about yourself.
Foxxy: Well, I was born in Tucson but now call Las Vegas home. I’m a self-made shemale porn star who has been a nominee for AVN and Urban X awards.
I have been an adult actress and model going on eight years now, and I love it. I now own my own company — Foxxylicious Productions — and run the solo website TS-Foxxy.com, where I get to do my own projects and direct my own films. But the most fun is working with top performers: girls, T-girls and male talent.
I’m a very fun and outgoing person who loves to live life to its fullest. I love making new friends, traveling to new places, and I’m very family oriented. The gym is where I spend my free time at least three to five days a week, which allows me to clear my mind. And one last thing: I love to cook!
When did you decide you were transsexual, and how did you deal with the transition?
I was always very feminine as a child and was always into the fine arts. I always played with my mom’s makeup and loved to wear dresses. I never thought anything of it, because it was who I really was.
It wasn’t until I got into my teens that I started to understand life and get in touch with myself. I learned there was a such a thing as a shemale or transsexual, and I was intrigued. The more I read up on them and met a few, I realized that was what I was.
I started my transition at age 17 and had the support of my family, which was my main concern. It was great knowing I could be who I was and not have to hide. The most difficult part is being accepted by society and learning to build confidence, and not letting negative people get in my way.
How did you get into the adult business?
I was a go-go dancer in Las Vegas and didn’t know about the AVN Expo and all the excitement that comes with it. I was approached while dancing by a couple directors and photographers, and the rest is history.
What do you love and hate about the industry?
What I love about the industry is meeting and working with great people. What I love most of all is being able to express my sexual wild side on camera for everyone to enjoy.
What I hate about the industry is how they judge certain performers, such as male performers who cross over from gay to straight or gay to TS or straight to gay.
What is it like being a TS in day-to-day life?
Well, everyone is different and lives a different lifestyle. I speak only for myself, but mine is a normal life as anyone else would live.
I guess being able to blend in and not have people know I’m a TS is what makes life easy. But the only tough part is having to tell a guy I meet, if he’s trying to make friends, that I’m a TS.
How challenging is it to find solid relationships and meet decent men?
I don’t have a problem meeting men, and I know a lot of great guys. As for relationships, what makes it hard is being in the adult industry and finding someone who supports your choice of careers.
I made it easy for myself by telling myself that as long as I’m in the industry, I will remain single and casually date with no strings attached.
What have you learned from your life and career to date?
I have learned that life is what you make of it, and no one can tell you how to live your life. I have learned to be independent and have become a strong person who won’t let any obstacle get in my way. I now know what it’s like to be a businesswoman and work hard for what I own.
What are your future plans?
I have learned a lot about film and photography. I would love to direct more, but I think I will stick to what I have always wanted to do: massage therapy and aesthetics. My dream would be to own a small spa.
