8th Annual YNOT Awards Prague Set For September 15
PRAGUE – The eighth annual YNOT Awards show is gearing up for takeoff on Saturday September 15, returning to Mayakovsky Hall in Prague’s famous National House of Vinohrady, a fittingly opulent venue for the much-anticipated event.
The 2018 edition of the awards takes place during The European Summit, with transportation between TES and the awards show provided by YNOT Awards sponsor Paxum.
Since the YNOT Awards first launched in 2011, the awards have become among the industry’s most coveted honors. The first industry awards of their kind to be decided by peer voting, not by a panel of voters, giving the awards an added legitimacy and meaning for those who win them. No fan voting is allowed for the YNOT Awards either, making the awards purely by and for the adult industry.
“Knowing you’ve been recognized by your adult industry colleagues gives YNOT Award winners an extra sense of accomplishment,” said YNOT Group co-owner and awards show producer Jay Kopita. “It drives home the point that these awards are earned and given based on the winner’s efforts, not decided arbitrarily or bought.”
As with last year’s YNOT Awards, there will be 35 categories capped at a maximum of five nominees each. The categories and nominees will be announced in July, with industry voting opening on July 9 and closing on August 17.
Kopita said he is “eager to receive industry feedback and suggestions” on both categories and nominees between now and when voting begins next month. Suggestions can be sent to Kopita via email at jay@ynot.com, or via Skype at LAJConsulting.
“I want the YNOT Awards to always be as current and relevant as possible,” Kopita said. “What matters most to people in the industry this year may not be the same as in years past. So, if there’s a new category, or a worthy nominee who deserves consideration, I encourage people to let me know.”
In addition to the 35 award categories, one individual and one company will be selected for induction to the YNOT Awards Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame inductees are the only award honorees selected by YNOT and are selected based on their historical contributions to the business-to-business sector of the online adult entertainment market.
When voting commences, only those whose adult industry membership has been vetted and verified will be permitted to vote. Prospective voters initiate the eligibility review by registering at YNOTID.com.
Dinner tables for the YNOT Awards are already half sold – so those who wish to reserve a table should contact Kopita to do so as soon as possible, using the same contact information provided above for suggesting categories and nominees. Some show sponsorship opportunities remain available as well, but like table space, those opportunities won’t last long.
“As the show date approaches, the remaining tables and sponsorship packages are going to sell out quickly,” Kopita said. “Anyone who wants to reserve a table or arrange to sponsor the show should hit me up sooner rather than later.”
The 2018 YNOT Awards show is made possible by the generous support of the event’s Platinum sponsor, Rich Girls Studio, Diamond sponsor Best Studios and Gold sponsors BongaCash, Studio20, Paxum, Gaming Adult, Chaturbate, MojoHost, Flirt4Free, ImLive and Night Prowl Studio.
