YNOT – King Ryan Events and the Naughty Tweet Network will host the 2nd Annual PornStar TweetUp Sept. 9 at Kiss Lounge inside Eva Longoria’s Beso Nightclub in Hollywood, Calif. A bevy of Twitter-addicted adult performers is expected to attend, led by “The Hardcore Hottie” Lexi Love.According to its chief executive officer, the Naughty Tweet Network, parent company of PornStarTweet.com and 10 other niche sites, has plenty to celebrate this year, having surpassing 120,000 followers and following more than 1,000 verified porn stars on Twitter. PornStarTweet, which accounts for more than 20,000 of the network’s total followers, launched in February 2009, following the daily lives of 17 performers who used Twitter at the time.

“The explosive growth of social media, specifically Twitter, has led to huge success for us, but it’s really the social aspects that have made it work for us,” said CEO Pete Housley. “The daily interactions, business relationships and friendships — both on- and offline — we have developed are a testament to the power and value of social media.

“We’ve often been humbled by the A-list celebrities who take the time to not only participate in our venture but also endorse and recommend it,” he continued. “The list of stars who have supported us is massive; far too many to list. The fans of PornStarTweet, all 20,000-plus of them, are amazing. They’re witty, funny and … well, sometimes just downright perverted. But they’re the reason we’re here. This is going to be one hell of a party.”

Sponsors for the event include Exotic Interludes: The Swingers Board Game, Desire Street Productions and Panty Droppers wine. All three sponsors plan to give away prizes all night long. NaughtyTweet and sister agency NaughtyPR plan to announce the details of a Twitter-based giveaway to take place in January in conjunction with the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo.

“I think I’m more addicted to Twitter than sex,” Love said. “Well maybe not, but it’s a close second. Twitter has become a constant companion for me, so much so that PornStarTweet actually loaned me their mascot to show him around my hometown of New York City. Watch the red carpet at the big TweetUp. The event will being at 10 p.m. with a red carpet reception.
