YNOT – Along with a number of perennial favorites, the list of 2012 AVN Awards winners also included some companies and individuals not typically on everyone’s list.

More than 130 trophies were presented during the awards’ 29th annual gala celebration Jan. 21 inside The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The list of nominees, released in December, numbered more than 1,600 individuals, companies and products.

In the Web & Technology categories, Adult DVD Empire took home its eighth AVN Award. FameDollars, ImLive and Brazzers also repeated previous wins.

In addition, three new members were inducted into the Internet Founders Branch of the AVN Hall of Fame: Beth Mansfield of PersianKitty.com, Patrick of TheHun.net and Shap, who retired last year after selling Twistys.com.

Several studios and products that saw their genesis online were honored among the Video category winners, including Best Amateur Series The Dancing Bear (Morally Corrupt/Jules Jordan Video), Best Big Butt Series Bit Tits in Uniform (Brazzers) and Best Ethnic-Themed Series Big Ass Brazilian Butts (Reality Kings/Pulse Distribution).
