2010 AEE Sees Jump in Attendance
YNOT – Maybe the economy is turning around. Attendance at this year’s AVN Adult Entertainment Expo certainly was a positive indicator for the adult entertainment industry.According to figures reported by AEE producer Home Entertainment Events, the more than 22,000 people who passed through the doors of the Sands Expo and Convention Center Jan. 7-10 represented a 10-percent increase over 2009 attendance. The rise was driven by a 14-percent hike in sales of tickets to fans, AEE spokesman Sean Devlin said.
“We are very pleased with strong attendance at this year’s expo,” Devlin said. “It shows the public recognizes that AEE provides the most popular adult stars, the best variety of exhibitors and the most outstanding overall experience for fans of adult entertainment.”
Plans already are in the works for the 2011 event, which is scheduled to take place Jan. 6-9 at the Sands.
