2008 Winter Internext Website Launches, Online Registration Commences
CHATSWORTH, CA — It’s not too early to start thinking about next year, especially when it comes to planning for the 2008 Las Vegas Internext Expo. With the site freshly redesigned and launched, it’s the perfect time to go online, look at what’s in store, and register for what’s being billed as an Internext unlike any other.According to senior show manager, Renee Johnson, the newly selected Palms Casino Resort “will be a great match for our group” and she looks forward to the January 13th – 15th expo being “the most talked-about Internext to date.”
Given the past few January shows, that’s saying a lot.
Visitors to Internext-Expo.com will learn about the welcoming party to be held on Sunday night, as well as the Monday and Tuesday seminars and exhibits. The hip new site design reflects what Johnson and other event organizers hope will be an equally energetic and imaginative tradeshow.
Unlike previous Internext Expos, this one will not include a traditional show floor. Instead, and in keeping with the party vibe of Sin City, an “alternative exhibit space” will capture attendee’s attention. Held in the 25,000-square-foot Rain nightclub inside the Palms, VIP rooms, private skyboxes, indoor cabanas, fully stocked bars, and a stage with continuous entertainment will take center stage in what may well be reminiscent of events held in the ancient past, as measured by internet technology timepieces.
Although an opening keynote speaker a 4:00pm Tuesday live adult domain auction, and a single track of educational programming will round out the expo, the emphasis is unquestionably on the social networking potential of the three day event.
All of the fantasy suites on the 25th and 26th floors have been set aside for what a press release is calling “a block party” to include peek-a-boo showers, stripper poles, full bars, and even a bowling alley.
AVN Online co-publisher MJ McMahon proclaims that “the combination of new show format and the coolest hotel and casino in Vegas, along with the best elements from traditional trade shows, is going to make for one hell of an event. Internext is once again raising the bar, and AVN Online is proud to be part of this next-generation event.”

Internext Las Vegas will begin the day after the Adult Entertainment Expo, held at the Sands Expo Center, closes and the Adult Video News Awards, held at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, have been presented. This year’s Consumer Electronics Show runs from January 7th – 10th.
