2000Charge Announces Addition of ACH Canada
CYBERSPACE — Alternative online billing provider 2000Charge has announced the addition of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processing for Canadian consumers.“Canada is one of the wealthiest nations in the world, but for the longest time, processing limitations and restrictions made it a difficult market to leverage effectively,” 2000Charge stated in a press release issued this week. “That, we’re happy to announce, is no longer an issue, because 2000Charge now supports ACH Check Processing in Canada.”
According to the 2000Charge website, the company’s ACH service is backed by “secure, high-speed processing, account and user verification, fraud scrubbing with an extensive negative check database, as well as automated password management and 24/7 merchant technical support.”
In its release, 2000Charge stressed the importance of providing billing solutions for international customers that go beyond the major credit cards.
“Like many European consumers, Canadian surfers tend to be more wary of online credit card purchase than their neighbors to the south,” 2000Charge stated in its press release. “With 2000Charge and ACH Processing, that barrier to sales has been cast aside.”
In terms of the effect on a company’s bottom line, 2000Charge states in its release that merchants can “expect a 15-percent in alterative revenue.”
In addition to ACH, 2000Charge supports EUDEBIT (European Bank Debit), Chinese and Korean credit cards and a variety of ATM, charge and debit card purchase methods.
