Acquired in May 2014 by Barron Innovations, a division of The Associated Group, Sex.xxx was part of a record-setting $5 million deal that also included Phone.xxx, Black.xxx, Shop.xxx, Mate.xxx, Horny.xxx, Kinky.xxx, Online.xxx and Education.xxx. The spokesperson did not comment about when the other domains might be developed.
