HUNTing for Gay Porn
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – At a time when most traditional news sources are struggling to survive, it seems almost insane to launch a new publication. After all, readers, untapped material and production budgets are stretched thin, and competition can get ugly.
Gay adult studio Falcon & Raging Stallion is well aware of the challenges, yet management forged ahead anyway. President Chris Ward called HUNT “the first major new fan-focused publication since the demise of all of the gay porn magazines several years ago” and said the e-zine has performed so well that the combined studio recently launched a website devoted specifically to the publication. The zine is fresh, topical and reaches a demographic thirsty for fan-focused gay porn news, Ward noted.
HUNTeZine.com delivers news and information from and about Falcon Studios, Raging Stallion Studios and the gay adult industry at large directly to subscribers’ inboxes every other week. The site hosts free scenes from Falcon and Raging Stallion productions, along with other video and still-image features including porn star workouts and behind-the-scenes interviews. Creator and marketing director Toby J. Morris said with the launch of the website and the cementing of selective partnerships, the zine hopes to tap a market numbering 200,000 gay fans. He called the response so far “amazing.”
Morris is especially excited about expanded opportunities for advertisers. The website added banner spots to those already available on the Falcon & Raging Stallion blog. More information about advertising is available by email.
