XRCO 2011 Awards Show Sets April 13 Date
YNOT – Adult film stalwart and XRCO Hall of Fame member Tom Byron will host the the X-Rated Critics Organization’s 2011 awards show when it returns to Highlands Hollywood April 13. This marks the fourth year for the Los Angeles venue to host the festivities.
“Tom Byron is a living legend, an icon,” said XRCO’s Dirty Bob. “Who better to preside over an evening honoring the best our industry has to offer than Tommy?”
The host will share the stage with award recipients, presenters and, as always, the “Heart-On Girls.” Each year the XRCO anoints two industry newcomers “ultra-hot” and drafts them to serve as trophy girls. Lizz Tayler (Hustler’s Barely Legal 114) will fill one of this year’s trophy-girl slots.
“Lizz is exactly what we are looking for in a ‘Heart-On Girl,’” Dirty Bob said. “She’s cute, she’s sexy and she’s hard working, which makes her a star on the rise.”
Attendance at the 2011 XRCO Awards is restricted to adult industry personnel and press, and admission is free. Attendees must RSVP via email in order to reserve a spot.
Founded in 1984, the XRCO was formed to give writers and editors from the adult entertainment industry a voice in selecting the best and brightest in the world of adult cinema. Original members included a small group of writers from Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia. Over the years, membership has expanded to include some of the best adult reviewers from both print and electronic media.
In 2005, XRCO welcomed its first European members and in 2009 celebrated its silver anniversary.
